A doctor needs to authorize home care, but Four Seasons can help. We’ll send a specially trained Registered Nurse to your home to complete an evaluation and determine the suitability of home care. Then we’ll arrange for the authorization paperwork from your doctor. In most cases, you never even have to leave the house.

Great question. Both provide specific types of home care, and the fact is, you might need services from both which makes choosing Four Seasons such a great decision. Since we offer both services, you never need to worry about continuity of care, because it’s all coming from Four Seasons.

A Licensed Home Care Service Agency generally specializes in the kind of on-going care that you may need for months or even years in order to remain safely and comfortably at home. The services of a personal care aid or a homemaker to assist with things like dressing, showering, or preparing meals are all examples of the kinds of care that are offered by a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA).

A Certified Home Care Agency (CHHA) usually works with patients for a much shorter time, and they provide more sophisticated levels of skilled medical care. Typical patients for a CHHA may be those recovering from an orthopedic procedure, stroke or cardiac event often requiring both nursing and therapy. Wound care, and care for those dealing with Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s are also common examples. These services that are intended to bridge the gap between your discharge from an in-patient facility to a more independent life at home, or to intervene on the advice of your primary care physician in order to avoid a potential hospitalization. If you still need further help at home when you no longer need the skilled assistance of a Certified Home Health Agency, we can seamlessly transfer you to our Licensed Home Care Services Agency so there’s no disruption to your routine or quality of service. We can even arrange to shift the responsibility of your care to a friend or relative through our CdPAP program.

We offer services in two daily sessions (morning and afternoon) and we’re open six days a week, holidays included. Some members attend every day, while others come only once or twice a week. We’ll create a membership schedule that best serves your special needs.
