On Sunday, July 29th Four Seasons Healthcare Solutions, in conjunction with the 69th Precinct Community Council, hosted their first Community Health Fair. More than 200 people from the Canarsie community came out to participate in the event, which was held in the parking lot of Four Seasons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located at 1555 Rockaway Parkway.

The community was treated to the full Four Seasons lineup, featuring its Nursing Home and Rehab, Gateway Dialysis, Pharmacy, Home Care (LHCSA and CHHA) and Medical Adult Day Care.

Four Seasons’ staff demonstrated their skills and services by offering blood pressure testing, BMI’s (Body Mass Index) and nutrition advice, as well as great interactive and fun exhibits by their rehab and recreation departments that really captured the crowed.

Officers from the 69th Precinct did a great job interacting with the attendees and were involved in all the fun. Many dignitaries attended the event, including State Senator Roxanne Persaud and Assemblywoman Jaime Williams.

Attendees were treated to a free BBQ with ices, drinks and popcorn, great giveaways and a DJ that had the place hopping. Children had loads of fun participating in face painting, creative balloons, arts and crafts and dance competitions.
