Seniors from Four Seasons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1555 Rockaway Parkway, celebrated International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month last Thursday by recognizing the “heroines” of the center. Everyone enjoyed a table display containing quotes from many famous women throughout history, including Michelle Obama, Sonia Sotomayor, Malala Yousafzai, Susan B. Anthony and Rosa Parks. Following the displays, “female residents of Four Seasons shared their struggles, successes and achievements as our she-heroes,” stated Director of Recreation Yolanda Scott.
