Four Seasons Transforms Into A Tropical Paradise

On Wednesday, August 29th, Four Seasons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1555 Rockaway Parkway, hosted their Annual End of Summer Hawaiian Luau Party for residents and families. This year, the event had to be held indoors due to extreme heat. Many wore leis around their necks, flowers in their hair or grass skirts to match the decorations inside the party room, giving off a tropical island vibe. Everyone enjoyed the evening, watching a Hawaiian dancer and listening to music from DJ Derrick. The dancer also taught anyone interested in learning native dance moves. Other activities included face painting and balloon creations. Snacks and beverages were supplied by the Food Service Department, and everyone enjoyed the added treat of ices. Special thanks go out to Four Seasons staff members, who assisted with serving the food, encouraging residents to dance and making it an enjoyable evening for all. The Hawaiian Luau Party was coordinated by the Therapeutic Recreation Department.

One great decision…
